Algebra Summer Camp, Auckland
Auckland algebra camps in late January for students from Year 7 through to Year 13. Two levels — Algebra 1 for solid foundations, Algebra 2 for advanced algebraic fluency. Small groups, expert guidance, real progress.
Why algebra specifically?
Algebra is the language of mathematics. A student who is fluent in algebra has an enormous advantage across calculus, statistics, and every other area of high school and university maths. Building genuine algebraic skill — not just memorising procedures — is one of the highest-leverage investments a student can make.
Our summer algebra camps develop real fluency through structured problem-solving, expert explanation, and a small-group environment where students can actually work through the material properly.
Algebra 1 vs Algebra 2
Algebra 1 is for students from Year 7/8 ability through Year 12. It covers foundational algebra — linear equations, factorisation, quadratics, and word problems — in a way that builds genuine understanding, not just technique.
Algebra 2 is for students from Year 11 ability upwards who are comfortable with the basics and want to go further. Advanced factorisation, polynomials, rational expressions, sequences, and algebraic proof — the content that separates strong students from exceptional ones.
