Auckland Maths Revision Camps

MathCamp NZ runs intensive 3-day maths revision camps in Auckland during the final school holidays before end-of-year NCEA and IB exams. If your student needs focused, structured revision at the right time — this is what we do.

What makes these camps different

Auckland has plenty of tutoring options. MathCamp NZ is different because we are not ongoing tutoring — we are a specific, intensive revision event designed for the critical window before external exams.

Each camp runs for three focused days. We cover the content that actually appears on exams, practice under realistic conditions, and give students a clear strategy for exam week. Everything is aligned to the current NCEA or IB syllabus.

Classes are capped at a strict maximum of 15 students. This is not a large seminar or a passive lecture. Students ask questions, work through problems together, and get real guidance from an expert tutor who knows the exam inside out.

Who the spring revision camps are for

Our Auckland maths revision camps are designed for students in Years 11, 12, and 13 sitting NCEA Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Mathematics externals, or IB Diploma students sitting Maths AA or AI at Standard or Higher Level.

We run separate, dedicated camps for each programme. An NCEA Level 2 camp covers Level 2 content only. An IB AA HL camp covers AA HL content only. There is no mixing of levels, no one-size-fits-all approach.

When the camps run

Spring revision camps are held during the final school holidays before end-of-year exams — typically early October in Auckland. This timing is deliberate: it is the last meaningful revision window before the externals begin.
