Auckland Maths Summer Camps
Late-January maths camps in Auckland for students who want a strong mathematical foundation before the school year begins. Three programmes — from algebra foundations to pre-Scholarship level. Small groups, expert tutors, real results.
Why January?
The late-January school holidays are one of the best times to build mathematical skills without the pressure of upcoming assessments. Students arrive at the new school year with stronger foundations, greater confidence, and — for Scholarship aspirants — a head start on the most demanding content.
Our summer camps are not a repeat of school. They go deeper, move faster, and focus on developing genuine mathematical fluency rather than just covering the curriculum. The small-group format — maximum 15 students per class — means students can engage properly and ask real questions.
Three levels
Algebra 1 — for students from Year 7/8 ability upwards who want strong algebra foundations. An excellent camp for students who find algebra uncertain or want genuine fluency.
Algebra 2 — for students from Year 11 ability who are ready to go further. Advanced factorisation, polynomials, sequences, and the algebraic thinking that powers NCEA Level 3 and beyond.
Pre-Scholarship Maths — for Year 12–13 students interested in Scholarship Mathematics. A challenging and inspiring camp that develops mathematical depth, proof, and the problem-solving fluency Scholarship rewards.
See the FAQ for guidance on choosing between Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.
